Celebrating 10 years of partnership with Save-On-Foods!
I Can for Kids (iCAN) is beyond thrilled to announce the 10th anniversary of our incredible partnership with Save-On-Foods!
From the moment we envisioned our grassroots charity, Save-On-Foods became a steadfast ally for our vision to create a community where all kids have an equal opportunity to thrive. When we recently reached out to ask them what inspires them to remain such an unwavering champion, they responded:
“We’re passionate about doing what’s right for our communities and supporting children’s health. For that reason, Save-On-Foods was I Can for Kids’ first partner. For the past ten years, we’ve helped them grow an amazing idea into a thriving organization that fuels thousands of kids across Calgary every year. The service I Can for Kids provides enables so many children to get the nourishment they need to learn, play, and grow.”
Throughout the entire month of May, Save-On-Foods locations across Calgary will host special weekend events from 11am – 3pm to celebrate our significant milestone together. Join the celebration! All proceeds raised will support I Can for Kids. Check out the schedule of events:

But that’s not all! During our special anniversary campaign, Save-On-Foods will once again collect donations at the checkout and then generously match the first $10,000 in contributions! That means every donation you make will lead to double the impact and ensure even more children have access to healthy food. Darrell Jones, President of the Save-On-Foods parent company, the Pattison Food Group, sent us this encouraging message of support:

Throughout the first nine years of iCAN’s journey, the incredible generosity of Save-On-Foods customers raised more than $225,000 to empower thousands of families with the choice and dignity to provide healthy meals for their growing children. And the best part? We invest 100% of all proceeds directly into hundreds of communities in and around Calgary to make an immediate and tangible difference in the lives of local kids.
